these two words are  those which create confusion in most of the consumers mind

these two words are mostly used when u go to market to buy a appliance or etc etc

so understanding these two word is necessary and more over important

Dictionaries treat these both two words as synonyms

so by  not wasting your much time here are the common differences  with which u can easily decide before purchasing any mobile or electrical or any appliance

so first i will give u a example of both the words

GUARANTEE

Suppose ram goes to a shop and buy's a mobile an he is said that you are given a free guarantee of 1 year this means the company will treat and fix all the defects of his mobile and if unable to repair then will give a new piece  within a fixed period of time guarantee usually last longs for 2 years 

WARRANTY 

warranty is a term which ensures the customers or consumers that given specifications are true and if the customer find something lacking in the specified object then he can ask for a new piece 
so basically u can say that warranty and guarantee runs parallel
